Sir/Madam,
We would like to bring into your kind attention the matter of Harijan Basti kaitha Panchayat under Gangev Block Rewa. Last month some interview of 3-4 people from Harijan basti was reported in www.cgnetswara.org and it was mentioned in the interview that the basti comprising about 250 people residing in small land area of about one hectare does not have toilets build in their home. Also none of these people have the benefits of the housing schemes (awas yojana) of any kind.

We landless Dalits here haven't got any help from any govt housing scheme...
Shivanand Dwivedi is calling from Harijan colony in Kaitha village in tehsil Mangawan in Gangeo block of Rewa district in MP where around 300 Dalit people live. They are land less people and say have not got any help from any housing scheme of either central or state Govt. They say they have heard about these Govt schemes but no one has helped them with any. 80% defecate in open in Dalit colony here but it's called ODF village, Pls help...
Shivanand Dwivedi is calling from Harijan Basti in Kaitha village of Mangawan tehsil in Gangeo block of Rewa district in MP. Kaitha was declared a Nirmal Gram(Open defecation free village) many years ago but around 80% from this colony defecate in open. 250 Dalit people from here don’t own the land they live on so no Govt support is possible for building toilet this time also. Lets hope that Govt will do something concrete in order to provide the toilets to each of these dalits house and also will provide the housing schemes to each of them as well.
These are not the fake complaints and have full proof of voice recording and I am standing by all my issues as before.
Lets do these small things starting from basic and starting from villages and then we should claim that we have done something for the society.
Like these many instances, all these are burning issues and live examples to prove that how Govt schemes are failing in their right implementation. I have thousands such cases to show you if you follow me.
Please take these matters/iisues of public importance seriously and lets stand together to make India better and just place for all cast and creed. A truly democratic country which so far is really NOT.
