हमारे भारत के प्रधानमंत्रीजी के नाम यह खुला पत्र जिसमे सूखे अकाल की स्थिति में पानी के लिए तरशते जीवों के लिए एक नहर की अपील की गयी है. वैसे यह प्रपत्र/आवेदन मध्य प्रदेश शासन के जल संसाधन विभाग बल्लभ भवन मंत्रालय भोपाल में भी दे दिया गया है और साथ ही मध्य प्रदेश शासन की सी. एम. हेल्पलाइन में भी रखा गया है. इस पत्र को PMO के ऑनलाइन PG Portal सहित पेपर आवेदन के रूप में भी प्रधानमत्री कार्यालय नई दिल्ली भेजा गया है. नहर के निर्माण से जहाँ क्षेत्र में किसानो के लिए सिचाई की सुविधा होगी वहीँ पर समस्त जीव जंतुओं के लिए सूखे अकाल की स्थिति अथवा कम वृष्टि की स्थिति में पानी मिलेगा. जमीनी जलस्तर में सुधार भी होगा जिससे कूप, नल, हैंडपंप, से लेकर ट्यूबवेल में भी जलस्तर में सुधार होगा. कैथा पंचायत (गंगेव ब्लाक, रीवा) और उसके आसपास लगभग पचासों पंचायतों में नहर न होने से गरमी में और कम वृष्टि, सूखे की स्थिति में जीवों को भारी तकलीफ का सामना करना पड़ता है.

Subject :- Regarding irrigation canal in favor
of poor and needy farmers of the region an irrigation canal need to be
constructed as soon as possible to deal with the problems of drought in Halka
Patwari - ITEHA 2 (Tehsil MANGAWAN), HINAUTI 39 (Tehsil SIRMAUR), JAMUI 31
(Tehsil TEOTHAR) and other nearby HALKA PATWARI of Rewa district of MP.
Sir/Madam,
I would like to bring into your kind
notice a very severe problems of drought and falling underground water level of
the villages and Halka Patwari in mentioned subject lines such as - ITEHA 2
(Tehsil MANGAWAN), HINAUTI 39 (Tehsil SIRMAUR), JAMUI 31 (Tehsil TEOTHAR) and
other nearby HALKA PATWARI of Rewa district Madhya Pradesh.
In this last decade, due to the
drought in two phase the underground water level have felt drastically and the
farmers are suffering in their crop productivity. Also the level of the
drinking water in handpumps also fell down quite deep and further due to this
the many tube wells also have stopped functioning.
There are some water canal near the
KEOTI area which passes between GANGEV and MANGAWAN of the REWA district but
there are hundreds of the villages in centering the GARH Police station area
where there is no canal and for that reason scarcity of the water in peak
summer seasons and falling down of the underground level could be observed.
Near gram panchayats – KAITHA, PANDUA, SEDAHA, LOTANI, MADARI, BANS, PANGADI,
LAURI, GARH, KATARA, DARH, KANKAR, BHAUKHARI, HIROODEEH, KALWARI, TENDUA, and
other nearby Panchayats in REWA district the problems of water level is seen
quite often in summer season. In year
2014-16 during this severe drought farmers are suffering too much. Their tube
wells, handpumps, wells, ponds all dried out and they are suffering from the water
scarcity.
Not only the people but also the
animals, plants, and birds are even suffering due to the drought in this
duration 2014-16 of drought in Madhya Pradesh.
Therefore in order to provide enough
drinking and irrigation water to the farmers and people of the reason it is
very important and URGENT NEED to set up as soon as possible an irrigation
canal project in above mentioned region so that the general problems of
irrigation and underground water level could be resolved.
PLEASE NOTE – This application is
written by Shivanand Dwivedi (Social, Scientific, and RTI activists) in favor
of public interest and to help them to get an irrigation canal in their region.

the people of surrounding areas who want an irrigation canal to be constructed
in their region.
